Vineyard Lane

Bainbridge Island, Washington

Benefit: First sustainable Built Green 3-Star Multi-family project in Kitsap County.

Site: Located on an old winery site, the property is bordered on two sides by a deep, mossy ravine and by a highway on another. The canyon is lined with tall trees and native plants and provides a sound and privacy buffer.

Program: Create a community attractive to a diverse mix of people who want to live a well-balanced life in supporting the environment and each other. The vision is to build 45 environmentally sustainable residences that have a custom look and feature amenities unique to the Island, yet remain in character with the design and feel of the Island’s broader community. The project meets or exceeds the City of Bainbridge Island’s comprehensive plan goals.
